Available in four colours. Swap the cartridge to switch colours for daily specials or seasonal designs — a one-touch installation with no tools required.

Q. How many prints can I get from one cartridge?

Approximately 3,000 prints at 50×50 mm size. The exact number varies depending on the size of your design and ink usage. The ink cost works out to roughly ¥3.15 per print.

Q. Can I use the PB1 cartridge (for PrintPen) with the Smart?

No. Although it looks similar, this cartridge has a chip-based compatibility lock and will not operate in a PrintPen. Please always purchase the cartridge that matches the printer you own.

Q. How do I swap the cartridge?

Open the cartridge bay on the right side of the printer, pull out the old cartridge and push in the new one. No tools are needed. The cartridge is recognised automatically via its chip — there is no serial number entry or activation step.

Q. Is the ink safe?

Yes. It uses food-grade edible ink with FDA, SGS and HALAL certifications. It is tasteless and odourless. The printhead also maintains a minimum 5 mm non-contact distance from the food surface, so it never touches the food directly.

Q. How do I choose the colour?

Choose from Brown, Black, Matcha and Red. If you use multiple colours, simply swap cartridges to switch between them.

Q. Is there an expiry date?

Please use within 12 months unopened, or within 6 months after opening. Expired cartridges are disabled automatically.
